Firefighting Suit (EN469:2020 Standard)
With reflective strips on the hem, cuffs and trouser legs, these split-type, protective suits have a life span of 60 months. They are manufactured from four different layers; an outer layer, a second layer which is both waterproof and breathable, a heat insulation layer and a fourth and final comfort layer.
The outer layer fabric is made from aramid fibres providing increased resistance against organic solvents, fuels and lubricants. The aramid cloth has minimal shrinkage, is easy to wash and is flame retardant.
The waterproof and breathable layer is manufactured from an aramid non-woven fabric composite PTFE membrane.
The heat insulation layer is made of aramid water insulation felt, providing an additional flame retardant layer which is thermally stable. The fourth, interior, layer is produced from an aramid viscose flame retardant fabric, which is breathable.
